Clarence Wayne Mayo 

September 16, 193 - June 10, 2019

A graveside memorial service for longtime Chivington resident Clarence W. Mayo will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the Brandon Cemetery with Pastor Lane Gooden of the Praise Community Church in Eads officiating. 

Clarence was born on September 16, 1935, at Kim to Harvey Coin and Pearl Erma (Jones) Mayo and passed away June 10, 2019, at the Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs at the age of 83.

He is preceded by his parents and his siblings, Delores Bartholomew and Harvey Gene Mayo. 

Clarence is survived by his wife, Joyce Mayo, of the family home in Chivington; three daughters, Sheila Twombly of Brandon, Shelly Cebulski of Lamar, and Shonie Mayo of Sheridan Lake; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Southeast Colorado Cattleman’s Association either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
